Content creators are everything to PowerDrift. Every member swears fealty to the core idea of Power Drift; transform and revolutionize the way Indian Motoring is perceived. In an attempt to bring you the ‘real-deal’ version of motoring, the true grit of motorsports and the triumphant passion of a million enthusiasts across India, we have devised our own way of working.

We are not “The Industry”. We don’t work like “The industry” and we don’t refer to “Industry” standards (while we silently break the norms and continue to create new trends). We attempt to make our own standards, our own benchmarks and the results are expected to percolate on your screen. Here is a low down on all those who make it possible.

Rohan Albal

Rohan Albal

The Colonel Sanders of new age Indian motoring as we like to describe him, Rohan Albal a.k.a TenHut started PowerDrift, erstwhile PTR (Power to The Rider) with one mission – “To showcase Indian motoring in a way it deserves to be seen” and swears by it to this date. Plays every card right from running the show, to writing terrific, driving fantastic and edit videos. With the acquired alias “TenHut” from his gaming career, he loves his Aprilia and hates long queues at McDonalds. Rohan speaks 26 native languages including fluent satire, while his mother tongue is German. Scaling team PowerDrift to new heights, one video at a time, we’d like to think Rohan is a human embodiment of what he wishes the channel to be – Awe-frigging-some!

Amit Shetty

Amit Shetty

With a mind deeper than the Indian Ocean and more mysterious than the Bermuda Triangle, Agent Shetty is known to be a close aide of the Oracle and carries on the PowerDrift prophecy on the worldwide web. When not editing magic through his fingers (which are insured for a few million $$$ btw) , you will find him decimating opponents in online gaming or being a good dog daddy to his 4 legged son, Mojo (without the Jojo). Shetty is the guiding force behind all the on screen magic, right from spinning intriguing stories to creating automotive character that stands the test of time. And since he is always running overclocked processors, one must keep the AC temps below 18 degrees celsius to prevent him from melting. That, and ice-cream!

Varun Painter

Varun Painter

In-house dietician, fitness expert and a kind hearted animal loving Hulk, Varun spearheads our Social Media team. Comes with a lot of protein shake and has no qualms acting out hilarious sequences in full public view. Loves his Kawasaki “Toothless” z800 and hates leg-days! Need we say more? And did we mention he is taken? #sorryladies

Rohit LC

Rohit LC

LC stands for Liquid Cooled. Why do you ask? Well, Rohit manages to keep his head cool while managing production, administration and almost every other aspect here at PowerDrift without losing steam. The coolant of his choice is Old Monk and we hear he has a lifetime membership at the Mango Tree Vagator. Work hard and party harder is LC’s Mantra! We can’t help but admire this, with a lot of “Kautuk”!

Ritwik Bhat

Ritwik Bhat

Ritwik “The Priest” Bhatt retains his title of do-it-all at PowerDrift. From being technologically sound about automotive technologies, to his excellent and failsafe abilities to handle 4 wheels and 2 wheels alike. Ritwik plays enabler, managing, hosting various projects and keeping the team up-to-date from a technology standpoint as well. When not spearheading production, Ritwik loves starring in comic flicks, and calling people “bananas”, in Hindi

Ajay Singh

Ajay Singh

PowerDrift’s only “Sir”, Ajay ‘Reliability Expert’ Singh is the only person who shoots more than he talks. Packs in a lot of industry experience and as reliable as a ‘fire and forget’ cruise missile, Ajay forms spins a cobweb of creative ideas and gets the job done with whatever camera you give him. A jack of all the trades is often more useful than a specialist and our reliability expert proves that to the world once again. Just needs more “Aalu” though! #MaarHiDala

Rigved Ranade (RR)

Rigved Ranade (RR)

“Race Ready” Rigved is an edit warrior, with many battles won to his name. Loves creating top music videos, and can be found sitting on his desk tweaking his moustache. Kind to animals and born with a zest to travel, Rigved is also an artist, who loves sketching and painting. A man of many talents indeed!

Atul Haldankar

Atul Haldankar

We are mighty sure that the wise men didn’t mean Atul, when they told us that every start up team needs some one from HR.
An XLRI pass out from education, a grease head by passion, and a blue whale by appetite Atul is the go to guy for solving problems, both automotive or otherwise.
Apart from ensuring that the machinery at PowerDrift keeps moving, Atul also ensures that our food supplies never feel neglected.

Siddharth Dugha

Siddharth Dugha

Not many things in life are one “Dugha” tall. The Eiffel tower is merely 5 “Dugha’s” long, and the earth might be 100 “Dugha’s” wide!. Standing at 6ft 4 inches, and marginally taller than the average Pterodactyl, Dugha loves being outdoors, and his work is a reflection of his passion, every single frame. The busiest man in PD, Dugha is always in demand, and no-one has ever seen him sleep, except his parents when he was just born. Oh and did we mention he is a musician, strumming his ukulele away to glory! Way to go.

Rohit Ravindranath

Rohit Ravindranath

Instead of going to the “gelf”, our malayali chose to go to film school and fall in love with cinema. We imported this fine piece of a man to PowerDrift and he has been an integral part of our team ever since. Rohit is a genius with a lot of the magic that goes on behind the lens. Don’t let the tough looks fool you though, RN is a softhearted easy going gentleman, who “simbly” takes life as it comes! That and Mallu food, obviously!

Sanchit

Sanchit

The only thing on his mind is a great shot and his only friends are tripods and lens. Sanchit loves going click click at the sight of interesting wheels, and is passionate about his travel and tattooes alike. Loves animals and always up for help, Sanchit loves touring on his bike, and wants to settle as a baba in the Himalayas! Now that’d be a life lived well, bikes, cameras and mountains!
